Hannah Rose Cash, MHC-LP
I’m Hannah Rose, a mental health counselor with a master’s from NYU, where I focused on gender, sexuality, and psychoanalysis, and earned an advanced certificate in LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing. My approach is psychodynamic at its core: insight-oriented, human-first, and built on a real relationship between us.
You might be carrying a complicated story shaped by past experiences, identity, relationships, and roles you didn’t always choose. Maybe you’ve outgrown certain ways of coping, but aren’t sure what comes next. My job is to help you explore that honestly, without judgment, and with more room for nuance, curiosity, and possibility.
I believe in the power of asking the right question at the right time, the kind that unlocks something you didn’t know was ready to be named. We’ll explore patterns, reframe old narratives, and work toward a version of your life that feels more balanced, embodied, and true to you.
I’ve worked with people across the lifespan—teens, caregivers, new parents, older adults, couples—and especially love working with those navigating trauma, complex relationships, identity exploration, disordered eating, creative blocks, grief, and big transitions. My lens is trauma-informed and anti-oppressive, grounded in the belief that therapy should be both a safe space and a dynamic, collaborative process.
If you’re an artist, a deep thinker, or someone who’s just been carrying too much for too long, I’d be honored to sit with you and help you shape a new era.
When I’m not in session, I’m probably watching films, writing, or finding new ways to appreciate a well-told story.
